Pellets

In pellet production, sawdust or wood shavings are dried and ground into uniform fractions. The sawdust is then fed into a pellet press, which consists of a multi-hole die and a rotating roller that presses the sawdust through the die. This pressing eventually forms rods, which are broken or cut to suitable lengths. The pellet becomes hard and retains its shape when cooled after pressing. This makes the pellet sturdy and able to withstand transportation and handling well. Finished, sieved pellets are stored, bagged, or delivered directly to the customer, who can use them as an ecological product for heating with apellet fireplace, pellet grill, patio heater, or even a pellet boiler, pellet burner, or pellet basket.
