Terms of service

Delivery and contract terms

Kardonar Bioenergy Solutions sells to both consumers and business/professional customers. These terms apply to orders through Kardonar.com unless otherwise agreed in writing. Mandatory consumer protection legislation applies where relevant. Business customers do not have the consumer's statutory distance-selling right of withdrawal. Products are ordered through the online checkout. Customers must check products, quantities, delivery details and other order information before confirmation. Consumer prices include applicable VAT unless otherwise stated. Delivery and other additional charges are shown before the order is placed.

Payment

Kardonar uses Paytrail and Svea. Available payment methods are shown at checkout. Invoice, instalment, credit and other payment-specific terms are presented when selected. Separate invoicing and payment terms may be agreed with business customers.

Warranty and defects

Kardonar products are subject to the warranty terms and periods stated in the relevant operating, installation and maintenance instructions and any manufacturer's warranty documentation. Warranty coverage requires transport, storage, installation, operation and maintenance in accordance with the instructions. A warranty does not restrict a consumer's statutory rights in relation to defective goods.

Installation and product safety

Heating appliances, fireplaces, boilers, water-connected products and other technically installed products must be installed according to the manufacturer's instructions and applicable regulations. A qualified professional must be used when required. Particular attention should be paid to safety distances, chimney/flue, combustion air, ventilation, electrical and plumbing/heating connections.

Important information for customers in Sweden

Where Kardonar directs its commercial activities to Sweden and a consumer habitually resident in Sweden orders within the scope of those activities, a choice of Finnish law cannot deprive that consumer of mandatory Swedish consumer protection that would otherwise apply. For sales from Finland to a VAT-registered Swedish business, an intra-EU B2B supply may, where the legal conditions are met, be invoiced without Finnish VAT. A valid VAT number and all other conditions for an exempt intra-Community supply must be satisfied. For Swedish consumers, VAT is handled under applicable EU cross-border B2C distance-selling rules, including destination-country VAT and OSS where applicable. Delivery charges and lead times for Sweden may differ from deliveries within Finland.
