Effecta EP is a versatile range of accumulator tanks offering great flexibility, efficient energy storage, and optimal use of generated heat. By storing surplus energy, heat can be used when it is needed most. You can also combine different energy sources and choose the most economical option at any given time.

The accumulator tanks are ideal for use with wood and pellet boilers, as well as solar heating systems. By storing excess heat from the boiler, they improve comfort, can reduce the number of times you need to fire the boiler, and make more efficient use of energy.

Flexible solutions for different needs

Effecta EP is available in several sizes and can be supplied without a coil or with one, two, or three heat exchanger coils.

• Without a coil: For systems that only need additional heat storage capacity.

• With one coil: For domestic hot water production.

• With two coils: For more efficient hot water production through preheating and final heating.

• With three coils: For combined hot water production and solar heating connection.

The well-designed construction ensures effective temperature stratification in the tank. The lower section is kept as cool as possible, improving the efficiency of the solar collectors. The two domestic hot water coils also provide ample hot water, even at lower tank temperatures.

Effective insulation with minimal heat loss

Effecta accumulator tanks are available with or without insulation. For the best energy efficiency, a pre-insulated tank is recommended.

Effecta's previous 90 mm PUR insulation has been further developed into CellaPURtec, a high-performance insulation with 100 mm of CELLA-PS foam and a durable gray outer casing.

The improved insulation and tight joints help minimize heat loss and preserve stored energy for longer.

Insulation is available for the 500, 750, 1000, and 1500-liter models.

Ideal for solar heating and biofuel

A well-designed accumulator tank is especially important in solar heating systems, since solar collectors work most efficiently at low temperatures. Effecta EP is designed to provide good temperature stratification, creating favorable conditions for an efficient solar heating system.

Together with a wood or pellet boiler, the accumulator tank acts as an energy store, capturing excess heat and making it available later.

Custom solutions

For installations with limited space, such as older boiler rooms, custom accumulator tanks can also be made to suit the customer's needs and requirements.
