SELTRON® AHD 20

The SELTRON ® AHD20 shunt controller is designed to control heating circuits based on room temperature, outdoor temperature, or both. The BUS connection it offers allows several control units to be connected to this compact system. The controller is designed to regulate simpler heating systems with a single small circuit. The AHD20 is a modern weather-compensated heating controller with a built-in motor for controlling the mixing valve. The AHD20 is suitable for all water-based heating systems, regardless of heat source - oil, solar, wood, pellets, district heating, electricity, or geothermal energy. Living comfort improves when room temperature stays steady regardless of weather conditions, and energy is saved by supplying water at the right temperature to the heating system to maintain a constant indoor temperature. The intelligent controller takes even greater account of differences between heating methods and building structures. The versatility of the AHD20 controller and its remote control and expansion options, including control of a second heating circuit or another heat source, make it a reliable choice for future needs as well. The relationship between the outdoor temperature and the water temperature entering the heating system is determined and displayed using a heating curve. As the outdoor temperature falls, warmer water is supplied to the heating system, and vice versa as the outdoor temperature rises. The controller settings are adjusted using the sensitive touch keypad on the front panel. The OLED graphics display shows measured temperatures, provides an overview, and lets you change the controller settings. The sensors feature plug-and-play connections, so no tools are needed to connect them. The sensors connect to the connection box.
